We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our small yet enthusiastic Analytics & Information team and help our organization in the journey to become a data driven company. For us, this journey is just in the beginning so we can offer you great learning paths depending your areas of interest. Analytics & Information function delivers and develops data-driven solutions based on the requirements of the business, from shop-floor analytics & trends to management KPI’s. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible of developing our existing and already vast data warehouse & reporting content.

Your background can be either ICT or business focused, noteworthy is that you are interested developing yourself in both areas. As an individual your passion is data and you are committed to translate business problems into technical solutions in the form of data, as well as ability to communicate the results. Your responsibilities and tasks include for example communication and cooperation with internal customers from different business functions, external partners and your team members to create automated pipelines from the source system to the visualized reports in Microsoft Power BI. Other tasks include user support and training, improving our current processes and ways of working related to data warehouse development and maintenance, task management and documentation.

This position will be in our Turku office and can be done remotely after introduction period. Workshops and other get-togethers the team agrees separately.

We expect you to have

• A passion for data, analysis and problem solving & data-driven mindset
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlickview or other relevant business intelligence tool
• Good data visualization skills (dashboard design and development)
• Knowledge or some experience with SQL and databases
• Self-organizational and structural way of working
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• You’re active, innovative person and you are interested in learning and expanding knowledge
• Fluent in Finnish and/or English
  

In addition to these, having these is just a great addition for the role:

• Previous experience working with data in manufacturing industry
• Business domain expertise in areas of production, quality, supply chain management, finance or other
• Experience working with modern data platforms build on top of Microsoft Azure, but can be also AWS or other Cloud service providers environment
