Then we would like to welcome you to Radiometer’s Immunoassay Marketing team!Based in the headquarters in Copenhagen or close to a large part of the Development team in Turku, Finland (based on your preference) it is time to join a worldwide acknowledged company in Acute Care testing.
Responsibilities
The NPD team is responsible for the upstream marketing activities of Radiometers immunoassay portfolio. The Global Product Manager is responsible for the daily product management activities for new product development and maintenance projects as well as contributing to the future roadmap for the immunoassay business.
You represent the voice of the customer and market needs. By being in regular contact with local sales and marketing teams, following competitor development and attending conferences you stay on top of what the regional differences are for our customer’s needs to ensure those needs are central to our innovation activities. The Product Manager shall be a key driver to secure prioritization of new features and needed life cycle management activities for our products.
You will be responsible for your own product areas and will collaborate with the other members of the team in driving NPD projects. You will work closely with Clinical and Scientific Affairs, R&D, Quality and Regulatory Affairs etc., as well as subsidiaries and distributors around the world.
The NPD team currently consists of three energetic and experienced Product Managers.
With R&D you:
- conduct Voice of Market and translate findings into product/solution requirements
- prioritize and communicate the critical needs to projects and key stakeholders, based on finding of your customer-, market-, and competitive insights
- ensure customer needs are central to all innovation strategies and decisions
- develop future roadmap and product portfolio definition
- understand market needs and product use from a medical and clinical perspective
- plan future clinical use cases for our products
- develop short to long-term strategies for Immunoassay products to improve potential
- drive business cases for NPD and Life Cycle Management projects
- plan product launches with the Commercial Marketing team to ensure launch readiness from an early product development stage
Qualifications
The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor or higher degree in a science area such as biological sciences or biochemistry. If you have an MBA it is a plus. Most important is to fulfil most of the following criteria:
- 3-5 years of experience with Product Management from a healthcare business
- Equipped with a marketing toolbox from another global marketing team
- Ability to identify scientific data needed to drive commercial success
- ‘Can-do’ spirit and strong collaboration and influencing skills with other functions, subsidiaries, and local marketers
- Being able to work in a technical environment, especially with R&D and CMA
- Strong communication skills and knows how to set up a two–way communication and collaboration with other marketing teams and with cross-functional teams
