Are you good at creatingbest economical and technical solutions for the customer in technology-based project business?We are currently looking for Senior Product Sales Manager for being in charge of board and paper machine wet end improvement project sales in EMEA as well as supporting other areas.The core of the role is leading improvement project (IPP) sales based on annual budget. The main technology areas are headbox and forming section, but capability to support also other technology areas is a benefit.The position will be based in Jyväskylä but also other main Valmet locations in Finland are possible.Main Responsibilities Are



  • Active sales work by identifying customer’s needs in co-operation with local sales
  • Develop best technical and economical solutions to improve Customer’s competitiveness and satisfaction
  • Lead sales project, negotiations, performing of technical audits, application work, on-time preparation and delivery of quotations
  • Work closely with other group team members, sales support, Mill Sales Managers, capital sales Product Managers and experts in engineering and technology
  • Collection, analysis and processing of market feedback
  • Keep customer contacts up-to-date and use of sales tools
Requirements



  • M.Sc or B.Sc from Technical University from mechanical engineering, process/paper technology, automation or similar education
  • Minimum 5 years work experience from technology area e.g. site work, engineering, management, R&D or sales
  • Deep knowledge of technology area products and solutions, knowledge of sales and customer process
  • Good skills in English speaking and writing, command of other European languages is a positive aspect
  • Negotiation, coordination and communication skills, effective time management, problem analysis and solving
  • Autonomous way of working with a sense of initiative
  • Ability to adapt to different cultures, customs and business culture
  • Master common IT programs (MS Office, Lotus Notes, Acrobat, ComPass, M-files)
  • Ability to travel (up to 80 days a year)
