What’s The Role

As a Services & Software Specialist, you’ll be working closely with Hilti’s local Sales Teams in the field, coaching Team members to improve their competency in the specialist services, as well as building and executing action plans to uncover opportunities and drive sales. After being profoundly trained on Hilti’s solutions and tools available for analyses, the S&S Specialists uncover productivity upside potential within the customers’ organizational and operational workflows across the entire hierarchy. This includes hands-on action on our customers’ jobsite to prepare and finally present the productivity gains and convince the decision makers at our customers’ top level to choose Hilti as their preferred productivity partner.

What does the role involve?

The role requires someone who has an excellent business understanding and enthusiasm of driving efficiencies in the workflows on construction sites and in different applicable industries. Ideal candidate works with initiative and creativity, manage their own diary, cover all customer commitments effectively, and is very much be a team player. It is beneficial to be excited by software as well as being tech-savvy.

Like most at Hilti, the Services & Software Specialist role is a hands on role, and the successful candidate will be expected to be the go to person for services within their territory. A consultative sales approach, as well as effective communication and customer demonstrations of services will be essential to succeed.

The onboarding period contains i.e.:

Basic training, duration 3 one week periods

Onboarding days at our head office in Espoo, Finland

Basic training camp in Vanajanlinna, Metsänvartijan tila Hämeenlinna, Finland

What you need is:
  • Experience in B2B field sales role, service sector or consulting would be preferred
  • Can demonstrate analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to collaborate with wide range of different stakeholders
  • Genuine interest to business financials, streamlining the workflows & drive efficiencies
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional Team environment: Marketing, Sales and 3rd party service providers
  • Willingness to travel/drive extensively, working autonomously in a field based role, managing your own time.
  • Excellent written and verbal Finnish & English communication skills, ability to persuade and influence
  • Drive to develop strong and sustainable relationships both internal and external
  • Interest in software and skilled in Microsoft office suite
