We are looking for a
Specialist
to join our Supply Chain Development, Planning tool development team in Espoo, Finland.
We have a team of experts working in Supply Chain Development. Our team is responsible for development of Neste’s Supply Chain Planning and Optimization tools. We manage, give support and drive for change around processes related to our tools. We also develop Supply Chain reporting tools and work on automatization of processes related to planning.
We are about to take a big leap forward in the maturity of our business processes. We are committed to process improvement and we see digitalization as one key enabler. This development will require us to invest more in the team making the change happen!
Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are
- To be part of the center of excellence for Neste planning and optimization tools
- To be in a key role developing and implementing new digital solutions to improve planning processes
- To be part of decision making in Neste refinery operations.
You get to work in a great, agile team. In addition, you will work closely with many different stakeholders in order to take our Excellence development work into action. Your main contacts are the planners in SCM, specialists in Production teams and different development teams within Neste. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. Working safely at all times is essential to all of us.
The best combination to success in this role
- Understanding of Refinery Operations
- Previous experience of process/automation design, process engineering, supply chain planning and optimization or development
- Fluent English (spoken and written), Finnish (spoken) is seen as an asset
- Preferably Master of Science degree or equivalent
- Good teamwork skills and natural tendency for cooperation
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment, but also to implement tasks systematically.
We also value:
- Previous work experience in oil refinery environment
- Experience in process modelling
- Experience of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain or other similar tool
- Experience of Scrum and Jira
- Innovativeness and enthusiasm to improve systems and processes

The recruitment process will include interviews and possible aptitude assessment. The first interview will be arranged via video recording platform which is preliminarily scheduled to take place on week 15.
The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. A security clearance is obtained for the persons with their consent.
